A Basic Introduction into First Aid for Children
The UK Resuscitation Council recommends that every school child should be taught CPR to improve survival rates of cardiac arrest victims. There are around 100,000 cardiac arrests in the UK each year and currently less that 10% of people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest. You never know when someone is going to fall ill or get injured so it is vitally important that children have the skills and confidence to help deal with an emergency situation.
